Get ready to sweat, sizzle and sparkle from head to toe in this pole dance workout class set to fun and high energy music.  This class will consist of basic spins and floor work concentrating on deep conditioning and will end with a deep stretching session. This class is open to all skill levels.

Introductory Pole Fitness Class

This first class will introduce you to our pole fitness sessions. It is intended for someone who wants to try pole fitness before committing to a full session. You can do this class at any level of fitness.

Your instructor for the 90 minute introductory class you will guide you through a full body warm-up and workout that is designed to condition your body and build confidence on the pole. We will put it all together at the end the class with a fun and energetic dance routine.

The cost for this class is $25. You must pre-register. Class size is limited. Call 419.654.3262 for more information.

What to wear; dress like you would for a yoga class. We dance with bare feet.

The Aerial Silks class teaches the basics of aerial climbing, foot locks, elegant poses, and more.  This class is great for beginners, so don’t worry if you have limited upper body strength.  For those with more upper body and core strength, you will be introduced to advanced variations on the basic poses and techniques that will challenge and inspire you.  Express your creativity in the gentle embrace of the fabrics! This a co-ed class.

We are introducing an exciting new format for the Tuesday night pole fitness class. At the beginning of every month we will start a new 4-week session that will feature a variety of pole dance disciplines. You will learn a new set of skills each month to add to your overall pole prowess. Future sessions will include show choreography, inverts, continuous combinations, and more.

In the month of March will be working on a variety of  Inversion moves.

This 4-week class is open to all skill levels. Carrie will be the instructor.

Argentine Tango Milonga Fundamentals Series @ Paulette's Studio of Dance

Argentine Tango is the most beautiful, elegant, and sensual of the social dances. It is danced by tens of thousands of enthusiasts all over the world. We have a growing community of tango dancers here in Toledo.

We will be starting a special 4 week fundamentals series on Argentine Tango Milonga beginning Wednesday, February 15! Milonga is one of the 3 types of musical rhythms danced in Argentine Tango. It is a faster paced more rhythmic and fun style that has less complicated patterns and is usually danced in close embrace.

Class Time will be Wednesdays from 7:15-8:45pm.
The class is geared towards beginner dancers, and more experienced dancers who want to improve their technique.

The cost of the entire 4 week series is only $65. Pre-Registration for the Series is required and payment is due by the first class. No Drop-ins will be allowed after the first week. No partner is required and we will rotate partners during class. We are limiting the class to no more than 12 students so pre-register today!

Included in the cost of this Series are:

There are regular tango practicas held at Paulette’s Studio of Dance on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursdays of every month from 8-10pm. Practicas are normally $7 but the cost of the practica is included with registration fee for the Series.

Special Features:
• The class will teach all dancers technique for leading and following,
• The class is personalized. Hands on instruction is very important and as instructors we need to be able to spend time with each person in class. What things look like and how they feel are not the same. Class size will be limited to 12 students so that everyone can get individual attention.
• The class is progressive. We will start with fundamentals. Each class will introduce new material as we will review and build on previous classes.
• The class will focus on the basic core elements of the dance. This will begin with proper technique and body awareness, and will progress to the concept of connection and walking. We will learn both milonga lisa and milonga traspié. Other basic elements will include cruzadas and ocho cortados. We will not be teaching any complicated sequences or choreography.

The Aerial Silks class teaches the basics of elegant poses, aerial climbing and foot locks.  It is a combination of dance, acrobatics, and yoga. This class is great for beginners, so don’t worry if you have limited upper body strength.  For those with more upper body and core strength, you will be introduced to advanced techniques and sequences that will challenge and inspire you!  Students will have the opportunity to explore their own natural creativity in a positive and fun environment.  Ages 16 +

  • $90 – 4 weeks/1 class per week (Choose Monday or Wednesday)
  • $175 – 10 Class Card (May use on Monday and/or Wednesday)
  • $25 – Single Walk-in class.   (Must call to confirm availability).
